REAL ESTATE
After 2 decades in real estate, property management, and creative marketing industries, I am focused on researching and supporting affordable and sustainable housing solutions. There are 14 million+ unused shipping containers, millions of truck trailers that donāt need building permits, empty commercial buildings that just need zoning changes, and these are just a few possibilities. We can integrate them with solar power and aquaponics, cultivate community food forests, and create shared resources and regenerative systems.
This is a new way to look at real estate. A new way to imagine home and community. A way to create homes and community for the unhoused, at the border, for economically depressed communities, transitional housing for recovery, safety, kids that age out of the foster care system, for eco-motels/short-term rentals, and micro-communities of family and friends that want to share resources.

you are an ECOSYSTEM in an ecosystem in an ecosystem
all levels need to be cared for to survive and thrive
2 ecosystem practices have my attention: Aquaponics & Food Forests
Aquaponics is science & symbiosis that feeds people and animals, and creates a regenerative ecosystem. The fish feed the plants & the plants feed the fish, & the fish & the plants feed you. Imagine having a system in your home, neighborhood, or school. The harmony of nature and technology.
A Food Forest, which is Agroforestry, is the integration of trees and shrubs into crop and animal farming systems to create environmental, economic, and social benefits. This is what nature herself does, and it provides food year-round, everything in its season. A field of a single crop like a cornfield is a new development, and requires replanting every year, massive carbon output in farm equipment, human labor, and toxic pesticides/fertilizers, with repetitive passing over the land by human & machine which degrades the soil. A single teaspoon of soil has more organisms than there are people on the planet. It takes up to 500 yrs to create a robust top soil ecosystem. Our current system uses fertilizers to mimic this, but it drastically impacts the quality of taste and nutrients in our food. The act of agriculture is basically a sunlight collection practice. A field of just one crop, which is what our current agricultural system utilizes, only takes in sunlight on one layer. Peak inefficiency. Food Forests allow us to collect sunlight at 7 layers. Using the same amount of land, we can increase the output and seasonal availability of food, and decrease chemical pesticides and fertilizers, carbon-fueled machinery, repetitive human labor, and soil degradation. The 7 layers are: Canopy, Understory, Shrub, Herb, Ground Cover, Root, and Vine. We give Mycelium an honorary 8th layer since they help so much with root structure, transporting moisture & nutrients around different areas of the forest, and can yield tasty mushrooms for food. Food Forests are the answer to so many of our current challenges & future needs. Can you imagine a world filled with food forests?
ACTIVISM. Healing for community, ecosystem, and self.
I believe we are on the precipice of a great expansion and reset, and we can each be a wave in this ocean, a tree in this forest, a note in this symphony. It will take courage and action to birth a true democracy, but I believe we can do it whether we are alive to see the flowering or we pave the way for our children.
LOGISTICS connect our livelihoods. Truckers are the circulatory system of this country.
Currently working in the trucking and logistics field, I can connect on moving things where you need them to go across this great country, or help you launch into a logistics career yourself. I love nature and the open road, and this time is giving me opportunity for both.
