"Our darkness holds the secret to our light." -Debbie Ford This song is about doing shadow work. I was a student of spiritual guide and author Debbie Ford who wrote many books including The Dark Side of the Light Chasers. At her seminars and retreats, she used to do this guided meditation with us where we would go down an elevator 7 stories and exit into our own garden where we would find a place to sit and be visited by messengers and spirit guides within. I have had some life-changing meditations this way and I am forever a student of Debbie's work. She was a student of the works of Carl Jung who pioneered so much of what we understand about integrating our dark and light sides to become whole and our modern recovery programs.
